Club Rules

There are very few rules, sufficient only to maintain safety and our good name and reputation with site owners!

 

Please do not arrive on site before the appointed time, usually 12 noon, and depart by 12 noon on the final day. (Check rally details for variations). Please do not seek to arrive earlier, this is not only unfair on those trying to set up the rally but may also affect the Club’s insurance.

 

Please do not pitch up without consulting the marshals and maintain a distance of at least 20 feet between units.

 

Please keep pets on a lead and under control at all times.

 

Members are responsible for their own fire and first aid equipment.  Emergency telephone numbers for hospital, doctor, vets, etc can be obtained from the marshals.

 

Please observe a strict 5mph speed limit on site.

 

Please use appropriate filling points for drinking water and Elsan charging.  Do not charge toilets from drinking water taps. Observe all waste disposal instructions and re-cycle wherever possible.

 

Please direct all queries, any complaints etc to the rally marshal, not directly to site owner.

 

Generators are permitted only between the hours of 10am and 2pm daily. Exceptions may be made at the marshals’ discretion but only for emergencies (medical, etc) or for the provision of a rally entertainment which benefits ALL attendees. Generators must be situated as far away as possible from other units so as to cause least disturbance to members.
