Welcome to 2021’s selection of rallies and I hope that this year we are able to fulfil ALL of them with no repeat of the restrictions caused by Covid-19! The list was compiled well ahead of my decision to stand down at the 2020 AGM, I have already earmarked over half of the meets for 2022 which I hope my successor will find helpful.

With the Club being very small compared to many others and with our members mindful of expenses considering that we rally for 10 days at a time (although of course, you are welcome to do just 5 consec!), it can be difficult to source sites. You will see in this year’s list that most have been visited before with the month and year indicated. All of these have proved popular in the past so I hope you will enjoy them and the surrounding countryside this time around!

Monkton Wyld in Dorset was on our list last year but was cancelled due to the pandemic. The other new site is near Skipton, Yorks.—this is our seven days “follow on” from our “birthday bash” at Nawton. This is a basic site but ideally located for the lovely countryside and towns nearby. Thanks to those who have volunteered to marshal these rallies, a bit of a struggle to fill all but hopefully 2022 will see some newer members taking on this vital role?!

You will notice a change in booking procedure on page 11. With the closure of so many local banks, cheques have become unviable so the preferred method is to enclose a £5 note with your booking forms please. Contact marshals if this not acceptable please.

Best wishes to my successor and to you all!
